OUR STORY

A while back, we were asked to recommend a marketing agency for a friend who runs a business in Austin, TX.

We are group of friends who each have spent 25 years in marketing. We have worked at big agencies, small agencies and inside corporate marketing departments. We have lead big teams, small teams and provided freelance help as well. This is the kind of request we get all the time and usually it's easy to respond to. We just pick an agency we like and pass them on.

Not this time. This time we realized that we didn’t really have a partner we would trust with our friend's business. That got us thinking. The skills in marketing have become easy to access. The tools and automation have made it easy for small teams to do big work. But, they haven’t made it any easier for marketers to really get what they need. Marketers, and the leadership they work with, need the perspective and experience of a large national agency but they can’t (or won’t) pay for all the overhead that comes with that kind of agency.

So we realized that the time had come to do what we love. Build a core team of passionate and experienced professionals that can bring the leadership that businesses need, and empower that team together with our virtual network of top marketing professionals to deliver a next-generation lean business model that emphasizes value and results over timesheets. And so….

Kick and Drive was born.
